Hiking

Oberursel is the ideal starting point for hiking. Most trails start at the „Wanderparkplatz Hohemark“ (last subway station).

On both Muehlenwanderweg (mills round tour) and Keltenrundweg (Celts tour) information boards have been provided by the Museum for Local History and Geography.

The round tours Altenhoefe, Forellengut, Huenenburg, Kaiserin Friedrich and Laubwald & Heide have been specially recommended by local hiking experts.

Three town and nature routes adding up to 28 km were marked with the signs R1, R2 and R3 by Taunusklub 1878 Oberursel e. V. Starting and ending points are easily reached by public transportation.

Enjoy hiking in the Taunus Mountains!
