Start at the railway station Oberursel (S-Bahn S5, Subway U3) in western direction along Nassauer Straße passing the town pond (earlier Eisweiher), Christus church and Feldbergschule on the round tour Oberursel Bahnhof-Großer Feldberg-Weilburg - the middle Maasgrund - cross the street twice - to the right panorama of the old part of town and St.-Ursula church - at the upper Maasgrundweiher (pond) with stork fountains we leave the round tour and cross the street to Schiller and Altkoenigstraße - to the right on the opposite side starts the little path along the creek that runs next to the medieval mill canals, after 50 m you reach Schuckardtsmuehle (today the nature friend´s house) - keep on going (slightly uphill) on the sand path down to Oberursel´s open air swimming pool and Borkenberg with Marien chapel - behind the water storage upwards to the former Schillertower - after 200 m on Altkoenigstraße turn left into Kastanien/ Johannisweg until you get to the crossroad Altenhoefer Weg - to the right is the forest teaching institition „Haeschenschule“, to the left the upper Maasgrund - keep on going straight ahead to Oberursel´s town forest until ist crosses the Weitwanderweg , then walk in the southern direction - to the left is a house of the trade union´s youth, in the park you find an open-air theater - cross the street at the Signorina-Kreuz dating back to 1818 and go further to Stierstaedter Heath - along Koehlerweg to the residential area Weingaerten - Marienbader Straße, Am Hang, Kleine Schmieh - to the right take the Weingaerten detour - at the border of the construction find a viewpoint of Rhein-Main region - pass the televiser´s switching center and walk along the railway track - we now return to the railway station Oberursel.
