You are interested in a guided tour through the old town, on the Muehlenwanderweg (round route to the mills) or to the former Celtic settlement Heidetraenk-Oppidum? Of course you might also want to see the tower of St. Ursula´s church during your city tour, or visit the Vortaunus Museum (local historical museum) or the baroque palace „Haus Pfeiff“ (which nowadays houses a brewery).
It is also possible to arrange tours about „fountains and wells“ in the “Brunnenstadt Oberursel” (town of fountains), „the history of Jews in Oberursel” or “the life and work of Oberursel’s artist Georg Hieronymi”.
For our small visitors we offer special city tours for children to inspire their interest in Oberursel´s history.
For new residents we offer a special tour introducing Oberursel - these tours are offered on a regular basis.
Our guides speak different languages: you can enjoy a tour in English, French, Polish, Russian or Spanish. The cost of the tour depends on its length and the number of people in the group (about € 3,00 per person).
