One of the most distinctive buildings in Oberursel as well as popular photo theme is the old historical city hall on market square. The town´s symbol - St. Ursula church with the high guarding tower - is easily seen from afar.
But it is worth to visit the other churches of our town as well. The Protestant Church of Christ was built in Art Noveau style and attracts attention due to the impressive glas windows, while Hospital Church is home to extraordinary sculptures.
The various districts also offer attractive places of interest, such as St. Aureus & Justina church in Bommersheim. Please visit www.kath-oberursel.de for more information.

The building in Ackergasse 13, today´s Alt Oberurseler Brauhaus (brewery of old Oberursel) was constructed from 1723 until 1728. The baroque sandstone steps lead to the entrance of the “wedding hall” on the second floor.
This totally renewed and artistically decorated hall containing precious stucco works now offers a nice historical ambiance for weddings and other occasions. The catering services of the house provide a great variety of options according to your individual taste.
