The center for culture is Oberusel´s city hall. Every week interesting events are on stage, such as concerts, musicals, theater or comedy.

Theater in the Park
Cultural highlight of every year is “Theater in the Park” on the picturesque open air stage in “Park der Gewerkschaftsjugend”. Playtime starts in July throughout August on weekends.
2004: Carlo Goldoni´s “Lügner” (Liar) has been played.
2005: "Der fröhliche Weinberg" from Carl Zuckmayr

2007: "In 80 Tagen um die Welt" from Jules Verne
